Learn about the natural history and geology of the Mojave Desert through watercolor and imagery. 加入风化的艺术 & 莫哈韦 to paint a desert landscape using your own handmade pigments. Each student will create their own palette of natural paints and create a desert landscape from the very sediments at the center of discussion. Learn about the dynamic forces at work within the rock cycle and throughout the Mojave. 航拍视频, 摄影, and adventure are woven with watercolor as the instructor breaks down the geological processes of weathering and erosion. 不需要技能!

This course is suitable for all yoga levels and all yoga bodies and will emphasize building strength and stability in foundational yoga poses. Focus will be on applying therapeutic principles of alignment so that each student can find their fullest expression of each pose.

Our ideas about who is (or can become) a leader have been shaped by our cultures and sometimes it seems like the common definition of a leader is only for other people. In this interactive four-session course we will explore the opportunities for leadership in all parts of our lives (including the seemingly small interactions we have daily) and learn from the natural processes that surround us. We will talk about different leadership styles, and you will define your own. We will investigate how your values and the specific characteristics you already have can guide your path as a leader.
